| Hi Everyone! Hello, we're new here. This is my fearless little 12 week-old. I named her Kenzie after the main character in Sue Grafton's Alphabet Series. We spelled it differently because she needed that extra spunk. Originally, she was to be named Isabella (Izzy for short), but after two days of Izzy it became clear that Isabella did not fit this little bundle of curiosity and energy. I racked my brain for two days before it hit me. She is definitely a Kenzie. She takes on my sister's big golden without a problem. She has a habit of sneaking up and biting toes. It's horrible when my grandmother comes to visit and about loses her toe. I'm having the worst time trying to stop this. She has strong big teeth for a girl of her size. She has tons of chew toys, but prefers the fun of toes. I've tried tapping her nose with a stern "NO!" and a few other things. Gah! Any new ideas? Thanks! Chloe and mommy's little monster, Kenzie. |

| Oh she's so cute and I love Sue Grafton's books! I'm not much help on the biting, thankfully we didn't really have that issue. You might trying doing a search under training, I know you will find helpful info there!

| Welcome to YT! Kenzie is adorable. A lot of them love to get toes! LOL! I just stop walking, bend over and say, "NO BITE". She will understand after awhile. My Betty is 1 1/2 years old and still will try to bite your toes...but when I say 'No bite'...she at least stops!

| Hi and welcome to you and Kenzie. What a darling little girl and her name is perfect for her. She sounds like my Razael. She my third Yorkie and the only one that nips at the feet when you walk. I've tried the stop and say no bite a million times, but she's such a rascal. I'm now just stopping each time, ignoring her and then walk on. This seems to be working. I guess the "no-bite" was just giving her attention. |

| She's a real cutie and I love the name. Mine all seemed to love the toes too. In fact they still do but have switched to licking rather than chewing. If you just push them away they will think it's a game and do it all the more. A quick nip, using your fingers as teeth and a sharp NO will usually distract them, and in time just NO should do the trick. |

| I've added "bite" to my usual no and she has already caught on. She instantly stops and my grandmother is safe. Thank you to everyone for the warm welcomes and advice. Chloe |
