EVERYONE can answer and post here

In YOUR house - who does the waking up first ?

Since Chanel was a baby - She will get started as early as 5 am with the kisses....I ask her EVERY morning "Did you have a good sleep?" ?...and she answers by doing her GI-Joe crawl to me wiggling the whole way up my body and lays on top of me for a kiss-a-thon -

Cheri is more of a butterfly kisser - when she sees Chanel giving smoochies - she does HER wiggle-walk and joins in - It's THE BEST way to wake up !!

How does your yorkie wake up in the morning ? Do you wake them or do they wake YOU up ? They're better than alarm clocks in my house - problem is ...I never want to move and end the kissing.

Brutus doesn't sleep with us but he hears me coming downstairs in the morning at there he is like Hannibal Lector standing at attention waiting for me to open up the gate and free him! He does his stretches, jumps on me and licks the heck out of me. Then it's off to grab a noisy, squeeky toy to play fetch that I have to take so he doesn't wake anyone else up!

I'm like pleeese dude let me have some coffee before the playathon!!

Jewles is always the first to wake up in our house. She just lays there though untill everyone else wakes up. Then she gives you kisses.

Before the puppies Bell would just wait next to me until I woke up.. And then shower me with kisses.. Now with the puppies, she is still a very watchful mom and goes between sleeping with me and checking on the pups. She does have to go to the "bathroom" a lot lately , so she wakes me up during the night to go out.. Nothing has really been the same since the puppies!! But, we love them all anyway..

gyps and Gizz both sleep in /on the bed for sure! Now that Gizzie is over a year old both she and Gizz will lay in until I want to get up but we also then have a LOVELY good morning with loads of kisses and cuddles before we finally get up!! A lovely way to start the day!! Ana xxx

Sophie has always woken us up by sniffing loudly in her crate. When I open the door, she will put out her front paws, stretch while trying to kiss me from way down there

and then put her back paws out and stretch again. Then she jumps into my lap and up to my face for the puppy kisses.

Daisy is a little more reticent. She appears to be more interested in kissing Sophie than kissing me.

Pudgy is on a schedule which works for us. Everynight at about 930-10 hes is out like a light and then without fail every morning at 530 he has to go potty and then back to bed until 8. He does have to wake everyone up though if they wont get up exactly when he wants them to with his kissing attacks! Thats ok though i love it! He's such a character!

Cooper wakes up first so that he can go potty. We put him down and once he's finished his business, he returns to the side of the bed and barks for us to put him back in. He goes back to sleep until whatever time we wake up. Carter has always been a "I'll sleep until you wake me up" yorkie.

Niki sleeps in the bathroom (gated) on her bed. Littleman sleeps in bed with us. Every morning, about 7am, we wake to hear Nikki barking. It's like one bark every couple of minutes. I stir, then Littleman stirs. I go get Nikki and she is at her gate sitting completely still and stays still as a statue. I pick her up and she kisses me very gently. I keep holding her because if I put her down, she runs around like a banshee! Then I walk into the bedroom and Littleman begins pouncing his paws up and down on the bed. I say, "Wanna go outside?" and then off we go to potty. They run, play, investigate and when they are done, back in the house we go. For me, it's straight to the coffee pot while they fight over the dry food.

LOL !! Hannibal Lector ??? that one had me laughing out loud - you are so silly !

These are great - I love all the different personalities of yorkies - they each do something different in their own way - I'm loving reading these posts.....

Maximus wakes me up at 5:48 by running up and down the bed and then laying on my face...lol this is my cue to put him on the floor..he runs to the pad and NOW he jumps back on the bed..he cuddle for a few minutes and lets me rub his belly back to sleep....around 6:45 we wake back up and the tongue goes in my nose, eyes, ears...lol..kisses for 10 minutes and runnning up and down the covers...lol, then he goes down to potty and poop if he didn't at 5:48 and we go to brush our teeth and eat breakfast then brush the hair!!!

on a normal weekday, Stewie falls asleep next to me on the couch at 1030PM while I am on YT or watching TV. Then, I wake him up when I am ready and carry him upstairs to our bedroom. He takes a drink of water and then a few things of Nutro, eats them and then crawls in bed w/ me.

In the morning, he wil sleep until whatever time I wake up. I love it because he will sleep til 1PM if I want!!

Once, my cousin and I went out all night and my aunt was watching Stewie. I picked him up at 530AM. He had been sleeping since 1030PM with my aunt. We went home and I was sure he was going to keep me up. I was wrong! He slept ALL MORNING AND AFTERNOON with me!

nugget wakes us up every morning around 9:30...he'll just sit the and whimper until one of us gets up we have to take turns taking him outside !

Lol I can't BELIEVE how considerate your yorkies are - WHY am I getting the wake up kiss at FIVE am ? lol - they go out for the last time around 10-11...out again if needed at 2 am and STILL I get the 5am wakeup call ?

Chanel can't STAND me sleeping - she will sit in my face making snorting noises if I take a nap and never wakes up my husband...She is way too spoiled ! Cheri would sleep if Chanel did

will sleep in and that is Garett. Benni wants up no later than 6:00. First he will start with the kissing and laying on top of me and carrying on, if that does not work (and lately with two jobs, it takes a while on weekends), then he sits on the floor right next to me and barks, just one time each. When I finally get up, he starts dancing around the house like a maniac. Garett tags along for the ride, but I know if Ben would just leave us alone, gar and I could sleep in LOL
