| First Grooming... I took Lexie and Tucker for their first grooming. I had the highest confidence in this groomer because she told me everything I wanted to hear. She'd call me if she had any question about what to do, wouldn't shave except for their bellies and behinds, and said she'd do exactly what my picture showed (Jorge's cut for the YT yorkie). Well she cut off their top knots, forgot to shave their behinds and bellies, and still charged me $50.00 plus tip, which is fairly inexpensive, but for what? Okay here's the pictures, judge for yourself. First two are before, and second two are after. At least they weren't completely shaved...

| This happened to me last week. I asked for a simple scissor TRIM and showed her how much to take off (it was about 1/4in). I also asked for a belly shave and a "sanitary" (genitals and butt-butt). Low and behold she cut all of his hair off except for 1/2in. *sigh* I'm not happy. I guess I'm getting use to it now, but yeesh. Now we have to start growing his hair all over again. |

| I'm so sorry this happened to you Sounds like she did the opposite of what she was supposed to do. I would at least call her and tell her that she forgot the hiney and belly and see if she'd take care of that part at no additional charge to you. They are still adorable.

| Well I called the groomer and told her how I felt and that she forgot the bum and belly. Her excuse was they were too scared to get it done all in one day and offered to let me bring them in next week for free. I told her I'd call her with my schedule, but I think hubby and I will just do it on our own. We have a set of pet clippers so we'll try our hand at it. I don't want her touching my babies again. Oh, I forgot to mention, there's a cut on Lexie's ear as well...

| Oh no, that's horrible! If that happened to me I would never go back. I know that I would be so sad if a groomer cut of Bear's topknot. & there was a cut on her ear?!? Eeek, that's no good! I'm sure with a lot of practice & patience you can cut your own bbys hair by yourself & do a great job to boot! Amy

| aw man, that sucks they still look cute though and the good news is it will grow back.. this is exactly why i can't justify spending $50 or more everytime I want Rory's haircut because there is no gurantee that it will come out the way I want it too, and although it doesnt always come out the way I want it to when I do it myself, like i said it always grows back and I just keep getting better at it. I'd rather pay a flat fee for a decent trimmer than put money in someone elses pocket for a job i can do myself. I wouldn't have even left a tip (token if pleased) if i was that dissatisfied and she didnt do what I asked. I would have made her do what she said she was going to do for the price she said she was going to do it at.
