| Poor RUby & Valentino I took Ruby (yorkie) and valentino( pomeranian)both to the vets yesterday to get them microchipped with Avid. I knew this would hurt so I didn't want to hold them down. I ask the vet to get the techs to help him cause I absolutely refused to. So they took Ruby to the back and I heard her cry, ofcourse I was a nerve rack when she came back I could tell she was not happy. Then i was valentino's turn. Hes usually extra sensitive and more shy. Well I heard him scream like he was being killed it jst broke my heart and totally altered my nerves. He didn't come back till a few minutes later. Meanwhile I heard them talking about catching a vein so I thought omething went wrong. When he came back there was a bit of blood on his coat, very vissible since he is a cream white color. So they sure did catch a vein. Anyways just thought I would share this and I absolutely had to do it with so many stories fo stolen dogs and with all he cars that stop when I am walking them. |

| The bit of blood is normal . I microchipped my puppies and didn't make a sound . If they really have touched a vain , there would be more blood . |

| Aww, poor babies. I hope they are doing better now. Right now I am in the process of weigh the pros and cons of microchipping vs. tattooing.
