| My New Camera & Experimental pix I don't know if you guys remembered a while back I posted about me.. looking for a Digital Camera.. well.. I actually went ahead and finally got one! I got the Canon Powershot SD500.. and wow it blows my mind!! Way better than my Sony P52.. I'd like to thank Valerie (Passionfrution) and Dan (FastEddie).. because you guys recomended this to me.. and i LOVE it!!! Although i'm still fascinated with all the cool functions.. i decided to take a few pictures of Oreo, well I tried to get Ginger.. but she's just camera shy tonight.. And I didn't want to put Cloey's picture in here.. well because.. (that's a whole other story).. i messed up her coat anywho.. here are some new pictures of Mr. Oreo and Miss Ginger (well one of them) and my new Camera ** I forgot to mention.. I'm still trying to learn all the neato functions.. so sorry if the pics didn't come out so great.. oh and don't mind the messy stained spots on the floor.. Cloey was having a rough weekend (if anyone can help me as to how to get them out.. that'd be great too!) |

| What kind of mix is Oreo? He is BEAUTIFUL! I'm green over your new camera. I have a Canon but it's 2 years old. They improve so much year to year there is just no comparison! I love my digital camera too. I just love the new & improved versions of things. I love the memory sticks they have out now for cameras & for pcs. Does your Canon use a memory stick?

| Glad you like it and glad to have been able to help! The Canon Powershots are very easy to use, I don't think you can really go wrong, just keep taking pictures, and you'll find a gem in there somewhere! You've got some great ones already, I'm sure you'll be more than happy to share more and more with us! Just remember to BACK UP your pictures on a regular basis, losing pictures really SUCKS! |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Not that it matters, but I gotta know: Is Oreo a purebred? I'm new to Yorkies and didn't know they came in black. Great pictures, by the way. You made a good choice in cameras.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | You are going to LOVE your camera - they have so many functions - I'm still learning mine - I have a Cannon Power Shot Pro 1 and I haven't learned all the stuff on it yet - it helps to go to the website for your camera to learn all the different functions Good job on your first pictures ! |

| Thanks to Your Post, I also decided to get a digital camera. I got the Cannon SD 400. I haven't been able to do anything as I am not v. puter literate, but a guy from C. City where I bought it from is coming to the house soon to help us with the laptops I had to also purchase, so he'll help me with loading stuff on the laptop, and also with the camera. Thanks for your post. You received some v. helpful responses from our YT friends.

| Love the new pics. They look great and you can see Oreo, sometimes in photos on the net the black dogs look like black blobs, lol. But you can see all his features in these pics. Your pups are too sweet! Looking forward to lots of pics. |

| As I posted when you were looking for a new camera, I love the Canon line! If you have AI something-or-other as a choice for focusing, be sure to turn it off. It is usually responsible for difficulty in focusing. Also, if you can select the center focus point for focusing - it is also advisable. The images you posted are really great! Super sharpness on your subject. I didn't notice any off-focus subjects or backfocusing that tends to be exhibited in point & shoot cameras. Sometimes point & shoot doesn't really mean P&S! Great job! Lisa
