| Hunting for a yorkie I am hunting for a yorkie to adopt. My husband has had 2 valves replaced in his heart, so I can not afford to buy one, the medical bills are out of this world. I have had some people contact me for adoption, but they want 500 0r more. I can buy a yorkie for that. Any ideas, suggestions, etc would be greatly appreciated. |

Some rescues charge less than that, just keep looking... http://www.yorkierescueme.com/ www.saveayorkierescue.org Not sure who is available at either of these right now. Also, try www.petfinder.org they list available pets from a variety of agencies. Search by zip code.

| Are you sure this is the right time for you to consider adopting or purchasing a Yorkie? Dogs take a lot of care, accidents happen, shots and vet visits are needed from time to time, Yorkies need regular grooming, toys, a good food etc... |
