hi everyone! I am from new Castle, PA...about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh!!

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are living in Mt. Lebanon and we have a 5.5 month yorkie girl and a 9 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Toy Fox Terrier mix. We have not really taken them out anywhere other than for walks. Although she won't walk so we have to carry her everywhere.

I am glad someone else's yorkie does enjoy the walking either!!! My little girls acts like she is going for a walk and about 2 blocks later she is ready for my arms. I cant say I blame her with all the pitbulls in the neighborhood jumping on fences like she is their afternoon biscuit!! I would be scared too!!

Seems to be some interest in a Southwestern PA meet. Would be a great thing to do during the summer or early fall. Anyone interested in coordinating/helping to coordinate?

I wish I could help but I barely have time to sleep with the two active human children I have!!! I would love to meet up though.

I'm currently in Edinboro for the weekend; we have a summer cottage here and have a family gathering every July 4th, so the whole bunch is coming up tonight. But I'm very close to you for now. Any off-leash areas near here? I would be really thrilled to find one close to our place and would even be cool with getting our furbabies together to play in the next few days.

I don't know of any dog parks near by, unfortunately. There might be one, I just don't know.

Did a little search this morning; there don't seem to be any.

Oh, well; looks like walks around the lake, as usual!
