Sorry I didn't respond sooner, i was off last week, moving, so I had no internet, and NO YT, yikes! Where are you? I really do think we should have a local meetup!

i agree! we should really try to set up a local meetup while it's summer before our usual "chance of rain/cloudy" weather returns!!

Does anyone have any suggestions for a location? I would love to find a dog friendly place that would allow us to be indoors, even september can have 90 degree days, and I would like to be able to enjoy everyone's company, relax and take our time. Vinnie is good for atleast an hour in the car, we haven't travelled any longer than that. I don't want to see anyone have to drive more than that. Does anyone have a yorkie that doesn't travel well?

my Abbie does not travel well locally. I think it's the constant stop and go and the windy roads that make her anxious self het sick. She does much better when we go on the highway and stay on the highway for longer distances, when I drive across the state, for example. As long as she is in the front with me, in her kennel, she's less anxious amd can handle the trip

So the shorter the car ride the better for your gang?

Just Abbie--Max LOVES to travel. He's the PERFECT travel companion... Doesn't get sick, doesn't freak out...just barks at people when we stop, but he's just trying to say hello

I do love that! Vinnie had his hair done on saturday and that was the first time he barked at people on the street or in other cars, it was too cute!

WHEN?? WHERE??? I am not too fond of the dog parks there are always HUGE dogs trying to stomp on my baby!! Allegheny Park on the Northside is nice but not fenced in or anything.
