| Looking for experienced vet who has experience with small breeds in NoVA Hello, we currently have a decent vet here where I live, but we just had an unsuccessful neuter. I believe he does not have descended balls, and they were too small for my vet to handle. See this thread for more information: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ul-neuter.html I'm looking for a vet that has a lot of experience with small breeds and this scenario. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

| We used to live in VA and I know an excellent Vet that is great with small breed. She was actually recommanded by a VP of YTCA. Dr. Rickard saved one of her dogs. I got all my 3 girls spayed there and they are a little pricey but it's totally worth it. We still drive down there at least once a year for their check up and etc...eventhough we still have a local vet here in NYC that we use ..Here is the Link North Oatlands Animal Hospital - Leesburg, VA - Full-Service Practice Specializing in Canine Reproduction

| That's only 15 miles from our house, we will definitely give them a call. Thank you!

| Country vet I go to my Breeders vet all the way down in Caroline County ( Kings Dominion) She has been working with Yorkies forever!! Here is her link Caroline Animal Hospital Inc. Dr. Deborah Grissom is my first choice, but she only does operations on Monday, if you can't get her than Dr. Lisa Tuttle, and the nice thing about a her is not only does she know the breed but they are very inexpensive! |
