| Looking to adopt... Hello all— I am looking to adopt a Yorkie (preferably a puppy, but not necessary) for my husband and me to love and spoil . If you, or someone you know, is looking for a home for their Yorkie, please email me. Or, if nothing else, if anyone is aware of a reputable Yorkie breeder within a couple hundred miles of the Harrisburg area? I am also not looking for a breeder who breeds “show quality” puppies (in other words, I don’t want to pay $1000+ for a puppy). Just a simple, loving, sweet pup would be perfect. I would rather adopt a dog that is currently looking for a home, rather than purchase one from a breeder, but any help you could give would be appreciated. GeminiArtemis@aol.com |

| Save a yorkie rescue, rescue me yorkie, united yorkie rescue are in the area contact them for available dogs. They usually don't have puppies, they get alot of young-ish to senior dogs. Keep an eye out on petfinder also, if you aren't all ready.

| I agree that are great for adopting yorkies. Also, look in our for sale sections, and put a post in the yorkies wanted thread.

| Our rescue has several dogs that are young, you can see them on our site and fill out the application there! Rescue Me Yorkie Rescue Unless you go to a puppymill or backyard breeder, you won't find a puppy for less than $1000. |
