| KODA 1 year later I love you Koda. I feel your spirit everywhere. Thank you God. Thank you for this site and the wonderful, loving people on it. I am doing well and am on here often reading about how others were touched by the lives of their Yorkies. I know this after a year... I will never be the man I was when I had my Koda; but I can love life to the fullest with the hope someday I will meet her again forever! Brett |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I'm glad you're hanging in there, Brett. I've never forgotten Koda's tragic story, and in many ways it guides how I care for my pups. I hope some day you can get another dog. Your heart is too big not to have a pup to love.

| I have been thinking a lot about Koda this Thanksgiving. Hopefully you will get another real soon because that would be one lucky puppy to have you as a dad. |

| I also remember Koda's story and yourvery sweet tribute to him. I know you can never replace him, but there are a lot of wonderful animals out there who need a home, and you obviously have a lot of love to give. Maybe someday the time will be right for you. |

| I remember your tragic story too...one of the first I ever read on Yorkietalk, and I've often wondered how you were holding up. I too hope that someday you can have another one...they do help us heal.

| Kodas story was before I came here, but my prayers are with you anyway. I know it can break our hearts in two to loose a beloved pet. |

| Hope you don't mind if I add this link: http://homepage.mac.com/drbrett/iblo...032/index.html I just loved looking at all these pictures of her. She was a fabulous little girl, and it looks like you gave her such a rich and full life in 2.5 years. It also looks like she spread around a lot of love and joy in that time, too. I'm so sorry that you lost her in such a horrible way....but so happy that you were able to experience her illustration of God's unconditional love.

| No. You won't ever be the same again, because of those little pawprints that have been left on your heart. She was a very lucky little yorkie girl to have had you for her dad.
