| JUSTICE for Xena Today I write in the memory of my lovely Xena who suffered so much during her short time with us on earth. I cannot get into too much details but I won my lawsuit against the pet store I purchased her from. I doubt that I'll recover any of my expenses but I'm happy because this is only the beginning of what's to come for him. I will update as soon as I can but I just had to share the wonderful news. I know that there are a lot of people who suffer from irresponsible pet stores who sell sick dogs!! Some of you helped me in so many ways last year when I had her, so thank you. I'm happy to say that her death won't be in vain and it will probably help strengthen the laws against animal cruelty. Laws in every state can always be improved and I am happy to be a part of it (at least in my state). God Bless

| That was a nice message you put on her burial box. Thank you for sharing with us. I am so sorry this had to happen to her or any dog. It is just not right the way they all suffer so often.

| I am so glad to hear that justice at least prevailed. Your Xena was such a fighter! I am glad that her spirit lives on in you going out and doing what was right. For Xena, and for the others out there who can be taken advantage of by these $%#%$&$ breeders who go in without the proper experience and stock breeders. I still think about your Xena from time to time. Since Bella had the same unfortunate entry into this world, we were lucky that she pulled through, but it could have just as easily been another waste of a beautiful soul. Hope to hear more of this and see you around here from time to time!

| And it still breaks my heart to see that box and know the sweet soul that rests inside...

| I am sorry for your loss. I bet Xena is happy now wherever he is. This is why everyone should be smart in buying pets from irresponsible pet stores. Researching comes in handy when it comes to precautions. |

| I am happy you got justice for Xena. I lost my dear Keally to a dysfunctional breeder who still breeds today with genetic IBD in her line. We had Keally for 12 1/2 years and thousands of dollars to let her have a loved good life. It is all behind us but there is never a day we do not think of her and we loved her so much. Keep us posted bless you. Susan |

| Sorry for you lost. I'm not sure of your story but I have a similar one. I am a breeder and one of my pups sold to an owner was put to sleep by the owner's vet. I take full responsibilities of my pups and their health. The owner was given a sales contract and a health guarantee contract. They chose not to sign the health guarantee contract. And they didn't take the puppy to the vet after 3 days of possession as stated in the contract. Puppy after 10 days got ill and vet ran tests which all came back normal. No cause of illness was diagnosed. They want to be reimbursed for puppy and vet bills. Should I be liable? |
