Yorkie Talker | missing my boy My yorkie was 17 yrs old when he passed last November. I cry everyday, even now while I am writing this. I got him at 6 weeks old and had spent all my time with him. He was my best friend. I creamated him and put him in a urn that is a little statue of a yorkie. I put his favorite toy and a piece of his pony tail inside. Its nice to know that other people feel the same way about there pets. My family thinks I should be over it now but i am not. Its nice to vent to people who feel your pain. R.I.P my forever best friend....luv mommy |

| I'm so sorry for your loss. He lived a long time due to your love and care. It's a very difficult thing when you lose a pet and not everyone understands the pain you are going thru. I hope you will feel a little better each day. Sending hugs to you. Rest in Peace, sweet pup. |

| I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet baby. Buster is my first dog and I have fallen head over heels for him. He is also my best friend, the perfect start to my day and the sweetest end to it. I can not imagine what it would be like to loose him after sharing 17 years together. I know I would be a mess. That is what I love about people on YT they understand/share our love for these sweet companions. He will be with you always. When a little breeze blows by that will be his yorkie wings hovering by you and the nose tickle you get well he is giving you kisses. Bless you may time soften the pain and leave you with the special memories of you boy. Best wishes. |

| I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet little one. I know how much it hurts to lose your best friend of 17 years. It has been 4 years since I lost my best friend of 17 years and a day doesn't go by without thinking of her. It took a while for the pain to subside, but it did and I can now think of the happy times that we had together. I hope time will also lessen the pain for you. In the meantime, it is OK to cry. How could someone not cry and feel sad when they lose a loved one of 17 years. Take care. Rest in peace, sweet little one.

| Aww, I know how you feel. I lost my Cocker in Oct of 2009. I think of my little Bailey a lot too, but I know that he's so much better off and not in pain anymore. I know this might sound strange to you,but I got my two Morkies soon after his passing. It really helped me heal faster. Not that I didn't miss or remember how much I loved my Bailey...it just brought the joy of having a happy healthy furbaby again. I also know that I'll see my Bailey again. Have you thought about a new one yet?

| i am very sorry for your loss. we lost our little nika baby this past august and i know how you feel. people that i worked with at the time also did not understand. they said she was just a dog. but believe me she was more than that as im sure you well know. they are our constant companions and closest family members. they love unconditionally and become a part of us! pet / dog people dont get it. unless you've experienced the pet relationship you just dont know, so do not let anyone make you feel crappy about this. they are the ones losing out because they have never experienced that sort of love. i am still missing her so much and have a hard time dealing with it everyday and im sure that i always will. there are people who understand what you're going through on this site! you gave your little one a great long life with so much love and that is very important to focus on! keeping you in my thoughts and prayers & sending you a hug!

| I am very sorry for your loss. 17 years is such a blessing! I can't imagine having my boy for 17 years and loosing him. Others do not understand our love for our babies, they are babies just with fur . I hope you can cherish the sweet memories of your little one, he is running free! God bless

| I'm so sorry for your loss. There is no schedule for grief, and no one can tell you how long it should take, so take the time YOU need. Both you and your baby were blessed to have seventeen years together.
