| RIP over the rainbow bridge to Nigela and Velvet We lost some very dear pets today at the hospital. Nigela, beautiful white akita mix, heartworm disease that we just couldn't seem to get her through. We let her go the easier way today and it has broken all our hearts to loose her after a long fight. Tears well up in everyone's eyes. Then we lost a client cat today as well...that was hard yet i didn't know them well. And worst of all...our head RVT had taken in a beautiful black cocker spaniel named Velvet. she was blind with a thyroid problem but she had the most beautiful coat and such a pep in her step. she was blind but the happiest little dog. she lived in the hospital and no one could take her in so they finally decided at 9 years old with health problems it was no life living forever out in our hospital and let her go today. this loss is felt across the entire staff as she was loved by us all so much. we're needing prayers for the hurt to heal up. also. Prayers for Tammy. her son Roger is having heart problems at 17 and thank the Lord doesn't need surgery at this point and is stable with medications, but he's got a ways to go and a long road ahead. prayers please.... |

| I am so terribly sorry. God bless you all and give you comfort in knowing that you did everything you could to save these beautiful animals. Will keep Roger in my prayers.

| It must be really hard watching beloved pets die and having to comfort their owners. Nine years old seems so young for Velvet to be having those kinds of problems. I know everyone will miss her. Sending prayers for Rodger too. Hugs. |
