| R.I.P. Chloe....... Hello, We tragically lost our yorkie on friday.... im soooooo devastated. I know you guys are the only ones that understand..... On friday, my bf dropped off Chloe at his parents house. Well, let me start from the beginning. See, my bf mom has been sick and was in the hospital. She ended up having to be on dialysis 3 times a week now. When she came home from the hospital, she was home all day by herself because her husband is at work. She loves dogs and when she saw our chloe, she fell in love. So my bf thought it would be great idea for his mom to spend some time with chloe to get her spirits up. My bf dropped her off at his parents house that morning and later that day when we were on our way to pick her up, we received a phone call. It was my bf mom saying chloe had gotten out of the house. She said when her husband came home and the garage door opened, she bolted out. When we got there I looked for her everywhere, but it was too late. She had gotten hit by a car. It was only a block away from where I had been searching. When I saw her lying on the ground I just broke down crying. My bf mom feels horrible and she was crying also. I know its not her fault but I cant help feeling resentment towards her. I dont wanna tell my bf how I feel but I needed to get this off my chest. Do you guys think im being unreasonable? We had only rescued her 3 months ago but it felt like she had been a part of my life forever. I feel so guilty. Chloe trusted me to keep her safe and I couldnt.... the house seems so empty without her. Every time my bf even mentions her name I break down crying. I dont know how I will ever get over this. I cant even bear to put her stuff away but every time I see one of her little bows lying around the house I start crying.... I miss her soooo much. Sorry this is so long. Thanks everyone for listening. Love, Chloe, Kaylee, Buddees Mom |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am so sorry to hear of Chloe's tragic death. I think it is normal to feel some resentment at your BF mother, but in time you will see it was truly an accident and sometimes we just can't control bad things happening to our babies. I know how heartbroken you must be. Hugs

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Your feeling are yours. No one can judge you. What happened was tragic, and It'll take time to heal. It's one of the worst things to find a pet dead,no matter how they died. Hugs and prayers for you and yours. Let your BF mom know ,you don't blame her. She is feeling guilty, for this whole mess. Good Luck.

| I just found your post. I am so sorry about your Chloe. I recently lost my Chloe too. I know about the guilt you are feeling. I also feel I failed to keep my baby safe. Try not to be too hard on yourself tho. I can tell you loved her very much and would never let any harm come to her if you could help it.
