| Missing Our Baby Cloe Cloe was delivered to us from Santa nine years ago and filled our hearts with so much love and joy. We were told ten months ago that she didn't have much time, but she proved the vet wrong by staying with us yet another Christmas. It was the best Christmas because Cloe had to help open everyone's presents, ripping into the paper more than she has ever done in Christmases past. Just last week our Cloe started failing and yesterday it tore at our hearts to see her suffer. My husband and I and our two kids spent Cloe's last few hours at home pouring all our love into every stroke of her silky coat and telling her how much we loved her and will miss her. It was the hardest thing for all of us to watch her take her last breath. We all miss her so much and we can't stop crying for her. We miss you Cloe ever so much! You were taken too early. Your cat-like behavior is what made you you. You were one-of-a-kind and can never be replaced. I know we'll meet again up in heaven, but the pain that we now feel is too fresh in our hearts that we still can't let you go. "Oh she's so pretty, oh so pretty, pretty baby...oh she's so pretty, oh so pretty, pretty girl." We Love You! Last edited by VonFeline; 01-27-2009 at 02:31 PM. |

| I am so very sorry that you lost your precious Cloe. I also lost my nine year old baby Jag a week ago Monday the 19th. It has been the hardest week of my life. I miss him so much and he is constantly on my mind. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. |

| Thank you! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Nine years old is too young for our little family members to leave us. They are more than just a pet, they have a personality and are just like one of our kids. Cloe's full registered name was Cloe VonFeline because she truly acted like a cat positioning herself really low getting ready for the attack when one of us was going up or down the stairs. She loved boating, fishing, and the typical going for a car ride up north. She was losing her sight over the past couple of years, but more so over the past few months. Her kidneys were failing and even though we didn't want to let her go, she was telling us otherwise. You are right, it isn't easy to simply let go. Just today our vet had flowers delivered to our house and the first thing on my husband's mind was, "oh no, Cloe is going to bark when the doorbell rings." And I swear, when I got up to go to the bathroom (she usually hears me), I swore I heard her collar jingle. I cried all afternoon. I'm so glad I found this forum so I can release some of my pain. Hang in there! My prayers are also with your family. By the way, you can see pics of our baby under VonFeline. VonFeline Last edited by VonFeline; 01-27-2009 at 03:27 PM. | Thank you Thank you for your support. It's so hard not to cry. We expect to see our baby on the couch or barking at the doorbell. I hope it gets better soon. |

| My heart goes out to you. They truly are family members and are missed so, so much. I lost my baby girl, Sunny, of 13 years this past June and I know what you are going through. I'm so sorry.

| I am sooooo sorry about your little Chloe. Believe me I know the hurt. I know what you mean about thinking you hear them. Sometimes it feels like Mandy is right beside me. She was my little shadow. We lost her a week before Thanksgiving. Again, I am so sorry and what a nice jester on your vets part to send you flowers. Wow! Sounds like a very caring vet, unusual nowdays. I am fortunate to have a very good vet too, but some could care less. |

| We Miss Our Cloe' Thank you so much for all your care and support! We really need it at this time. It's not too bad when I'm at work, but today was the first day I came home to a totally empty house (husband at work and kids at school). It doesn't seem real. I feel like she's just visiting somewhere and we'll see her soon. Thank you again, I'm so glad I found this site. I'm sure that one day my spirits will be back up again so I can help support those in need. VonFeline |

| I am so very sorry to hear of your loss of little chloe....after my little spike died in november, i swore i saw him near one of the doorways in the house. this never happened to me before and it only happened this one time. i know he is waiting for me. i still can hear his bark...i'm still so depressed about losing him...i know time helps to heal all of us but time takes very long to pass. Enjoy your wonderful memories of chloe. |
