:animal-This past month my father went to Denver to stay with my older cousins.I have his 2 girls..both yorkies.dad left on friday and by saturday we took baby to our vet. he said she is in heart failure.being a nurse i know what has to be done.we all know baby was an abused puppy mill mom,i found her and brought her home for my mom who was dying of cancer herself. mom passes away just about 2 years now...as i held her i told her to run like the wind to her momma when she sees her in heaven.i held her tight and let her go. so now she is with mom,and romping with all the other animals too..
so as it goes i called dad and told him,there was a long pause,and he said you did the right thing....i work in an er and i see death all the time,but she was our baby....thanks for letting me talk this through..love all cathy

Your description had me in tears. I am so sorry, but you really did do the right thing. You wrote a beautiful tribute.

Oh, my! I am so sorry. She did have a good few happy years with your father, though. That is something to be thankful for. Blessings to both you and him.

As hard as it was, you did the right thing by letting her go. She was lucky to have had the time with your family she did. Sleep peacefully, Sweet Baby. God Bless.

Our love doesn't stop in this world... I believe it connects with the ones that passed. Thats how we keep them alive in our heart!

I truly believe that our loved babies will be with us in heaven. She is free of any pain and she is with your Mom. Bless you for saving her in the first place. She knew several years of exceptional love from you and your family. She probably thought she was in heaven from that point on.
