Last night leaves me feeling like I'm living a nightmare. My best friend and devoted 24 hr. companion Benny (10yrs old) along with his niece little Tess (4yrs)Lost their lives to Predators. We live rural and last evening in less than 5 Minutes my Benny was gone and Tess was found dead. These babies were my children. I stay at home due to MS and my husband is gone 20+ days a month. They saw a rabbit and that was it. My heart feels like it has been torn out. I haven't stopped crying for 24 hrs. I keep thinking I hear them bark or reach to pet them. They are not there. The void is unbearable. I can't stop thinking about them. Please Put my babies in your prayers. I pray the pain will deminish. I truley loved them to my soul.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my 10 yr. old Newman last year to cancer. Did you see what it was that got them? May be good to know, especially if there are small children near you. What a terrible thing to happen. Again, I'm sorry.

I am so sorry for your loss. We prepare ourselves to an extent that we may lose one at some point, but I can not imagine the pain of losing both your babies at the same time. I will pray for you.

There are no words to heal your heart at this time, but please know there are many here who have felt the same pain...I know exactly how you are feeling, I have lost many and it never gets easier...May God heal your heart...

I really do hate to hear about the loss of your 2 babies. I have nightmares about someone or something attacking my dog. I know how you feel. These dogs are just like our children. I love my little Tinker so much I could not bear the pain of losing her either. It will get easier as time goes by and I will pray for you and may God Bless you in many other ways!

Oh this is sooo sad. I'm so sorry for your loss. I grew up in Vancouver, so am familiar with Battle Ground. It's grown up there so much over the years I wouldn't have thought there would be many predators left. However, even in San Francisco we have hawks and owls that can be predators to our little Yorkies.

I'm sending your our very best wishes and hope that you find peace and solace for your loss. Keep posting. It helps to have others who love these little dogs to talk to.

omg, my heart is breaking for you.. I am shocked that some one could lose two dogs at the same time.. I know you loss is so deep.. I too have had loses that i thought I would never survive them.. I did and now have a new family to love.. I will never forget my first family. but I was so devastated once i could not get out of bed..
