ohhh hon, I'm so so sorry. I got a lump in my throat just reading your post. I can't imagine how hard that must have been for you and I'm so sorry you had to do that alone.
Your sweet angel is now looking over you, she is no longer in any pain, she is playing, running, jumping and having a great time with all the other furbabies who we have lost over the years.

Sorry for your loss of Evey. I lost my little one at 8 yrs old, 3 yrs ago. I still miss him and have his pictures all over my house. Remember the good times you had with her. Sending you hugs of comfort and peace.

I'm sorry. We lost our Newman over the summer. Like your girl he was 10 yrs. old. And, much like yourself we have other Yorkies yet it still seemed quiet without him. My girls missed him for weeks and of course we still miss him. We said no more after we lost Newman, but it was just too quiet and without trying our little Lilly found us. She came to us about a month after we lost Newman to cancer. She was 13 weeks old and we got her through a rescue. She's now almost 9 months old. I hope that your heart starts to heal. Again, I'm sorry. It's very hard to let them go but I hope you had peace like I did in knowing that she went peacefully. We made the same hard decision and after desperately trying to save him we too had to let him go and put him to sleep. It's so hard. Elaine

I am so sorry for your loss of little Evey. It is so hard having to make that decision for our "babies" even when we know it will be better for them. I too made that decision last November for our 14 yr old mixed cocker spaniel. Think of her with fond memories of all the good times you had together....time will heal your pain. (((((HUGS)))))

I'm so sorry for your loss. That decision is the hardest one we ever have to make. Just know that Evey needed you to make it for her. Sleep peacefully, precious Baby Girl.

--- We lost Mogli like that. He was doing great, not a care in the world, then BAM ... 2 weeks before his 7th birthday ... un-recoverable kidney failure.

Be strong, know in your heart that you did everything you could, and that your baby Evey knows too.
