We lost our firstborn of our first litter on Thursday. I named him Little Joe, he weighed in at 3 ounces. I held him and held him. It was so hard to let him go. We buried him this morning and sang songs. The vet said he had internal injuries from a rough birth. We do all we can, but sometimes Jesus wants a yorkie too.

am sorry to hear of your loss, just think of all the fun he will be having up there with all the other pup's

if he was poorly, then i wouldnt have been fair for him to survive, sending hugs from the uk

I am so truly sorry about your loss, I just lost my runt of the litter as well. It is sooo tough with it being a first litter i am going through the exact same thing! You just have to know she is in a better place! now Maui has a playmate up there! Concentrate on the other three and they will help ease your pain.

I am so sorry for the loss of little Joe. Dixie went ahead On Thursday to look after these tiny babies. Dixie was 6 months old and will look out for your babies.

Awwww, a newborn and you named him already. I am so sorry he didn't make it; as hard as it is, it just happens that way sometimes. Peace to Joe and (((hugs))) to you.

Precious baby boy, you have many little playmates who ran over the bridge before to guide you. They will take care of you and make sure you are safe. Have fun, Little Joe. Someday, you will be with your forever family again. I'm so sorry, Carie.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lil Joe, if you see a pretty silver mini-poo, her name is Sugar. I am sure she looks young and healthy now and not the 18 years she was when she left me. I am sure can hear me talking to her sometimes now, not deaf like she was when she went over the Bridge and is able to see all her yorkie brothers and sisters because she isn't almost blind anymore.. Well, Joe, I just wanted to let you know about her so you can say Hi and tell her mama misses her very much. Oh. and one more thing Joe, she loves little babies.

It's truly heart breaking to loose a pet. We just lost our beloved Max, who would have turned 17 in May. It's comforting to know that all these little guys (and the big once, too!) are playing together, watching out for one another, having fun and being young and without pain. Knowing that we will all be together some day is the only thing that will keep me from loosing it and I hope it will be a comfort to you as well. Grieving with you......
