I just broke the news to my parents after wishing them a Happy New Year. My parents are heart broken. Yorkies can steal those hearts. Lulu was so loved.

We had decided to have a small funeral for her tomorrow to say good bye. Well it's now a full fledged funeral. My parents have requested that I hold the ceremony until my mom gets home from work at 3. Dad asked if he could make her a little coffin. He was appaled at the shoe box. So he is currently in the basement at their house making a hand made little coffin for her and will stain it cherry. He asked that I bring her blanket over so he can cut it up to line it. God my heart hurts right now.

My sil and bil have also requested to attend and our friends that were were going to spend the eve with have also said that they would like to be here...so Lulu is gonna have a hell of a send off.

I have been talking to hubby and I personally have come to realize that I can't be without a yorkie. Hubby has always been into the big dogs but he agrees we can't not have a yorkie here. Lulu has left such a hole for us all that we can't fathom being without her.

Recently I was talking to Lulu's breeder to buy her full sister from a new litter. It was so she could have a companion..I liked that it was her actual sister. I really think I will have to get her now. Before I was on the fence because I was a bit wary of housebreaking...what do you guys think?

No one can replace my Lulu but I am not sure how well I will do not having a baby to come home to.

I have had other pets in the past but none that have touched me as Lulu has. Hubby just told me he wants to put a memorial tattoo for her.
