| Reputable breeder in Nebraska My friend will be looking for a Yorkie in the future. I am looking for a reputable breeder in Nebraska, or even Council Bluffs. Price range would be 300-500$.. I just want to be able to help her find a pet when she is ready. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Hi I live in Omaha, Nebraska & when I first saw your post I thought it might be hard to find Yorkies for 3-5 hundred dollars. The first yorkie, we bought, we bought with our heart on our sleeve from a reputable pet store and our second one we bought from a breeder in Geneve, Nebraska. We bought Lucky for $950 and Lexie cost us $700; both worth every penny! So my first thought was no, I don't know of a breeder with those prices. Then I thought duh, we are trying our hand at breeding ourselves (my husband and I). We just had our female bred in August and are waiting to find out if she did indeed get pregnant. We should know for sure by mid to late September and if she is pregnant she will be due around October 20th. Puppies would not be ready for new homes until probably January. Can't say for sure what our price would be without pups being born yet, but we were thinking that $500 would be the lowest we might go. I may not yet be an experianced breeder, but I would certainly consider myself reputable. I have loved this breed ever since I knew of their existance and since getting my first two, they are my life. I will be posting Lexie's progress if interested, with news of the birth of her litter if and when it happens in the Nursery. If you have any other questions, continue on this thread or PM me. Here are recent pictures of my babies...... By the way, Lucky was not the stud for Lexie. We went back to our breeder in Geneva and used one of her males

| I live an hour south of Lincoln. I have two boys that the price might be negotiable to the right homes, especially if they did not have to be shipped! That is always a plus. |

| thanks very much for your supplies I know that There is a huge difference in a show breeder and a regular reputable breeder who does happen to make money from the adoptions. I happened to get both my boys from a who breeder thus the purchase price for adoption was only 300 because what was important to her was not the money in my case(just so u see where my low price is coming from). but placing my boys in good homes... you guys have the same goals but with a lil profit on top and I respect that. I will definitely keep in touch with you guys and I really appreciate you responding to my thread. God Bless |
