Groomer in Des Moines, IA Can anyone recommend a good groomer in Des Moines, IA? I have a puppy that has never been groomed and I need the first time to be a good experience. Thank you.

I've heard there is a good one on the south side. And there is a good one in Ankeny. It is called The Beauty in the beast.

My vet had recommended Beauty in the Beast also; thank you for the confirmation. I called today and got an appointment for next week. The best part I can stay with him so that he isn't sitting in a kennel and waiting. Thanks again.

Glad you could get in. She was really good with my puppy. And she didn't seem to be afraid of her at all.

Thanks for posting this, my groomer in Huxley just up and moved away. So I have been looking for a new one. I hate it when you have to drop them off early in the morning and not get them back till late in the day. I'm not too far from Ankeny so think I will try them next time I need a groomer.

| Is Beauty in the beast in Ankeny? Were you happy with the results? I think the best around is Blue Ribbon Pet Salon in Clive, but they always seem to be booked out 6 weeks - maybe not so much in the summer
