This is the very 1st International YT meet up!! Let's us
'locals' do our best to make it a nice one! It will be at least 3 years before it is this close again!

I am pretty broke right now, but I am planning on at least going for the day!!
Got family, that would rather do something else!There are other things in KC! Worlds of Fun- not that far from Plaza area! A water Park, I think- can't remember name!!
KC is known for it jazz, blues bands and bars, and its BBQ!!!AND THE PLAZA AREA, RIGHT WHERE IT IS AT!!!
Try a day trip if nothing else!!!
I just would really like to see the one's closest support it as much as we can!!! to try and help this MEET UP- ROCK IN ,KC!!

Where do you live? I live in a suburb of KC and am attending the meet up but not staying at the hotel. I will just drive in each day.

In fact, my daughter (Sukoshi's Mom) is the one who made all the arrangements and for her sake I hope this is a big success. I know how very hard she has worked on it and will continue to work right up to that weekend.

I look forward to meeting everyone but especially any who are in the immediate KC area. I hope to get a meet up group going for those who might be interested.

Suzy & I will be driving together from Iowa - we were amongst the 1st to sign up! I would love to see more Midwesterners show up - because the closeness makes this get together very doable

I am about 120 miles from you near Columbia! If BF gets back to work soon- I would love to go stay one night! But if nothing else, I am planning on going up early one day- and coming back late!!! LOL
( I am the one who suggest a MO. Meet up in Columbia))
The lake of the Ozarks would be a good place, too!!

I am looking foward to meeting everyone, too!I just know it is going to be a blast! and KC is going to be smiling at all those little cute yorkies!!

I am driving 700 miles or MORE to get to the meetup! I just moved from KS to TX and most of my family live in KS. I can't wait to get back to KC! I don't think they could have picked a better place to have this!

my b/f parents live in KC so we'll be staying with them!! but i plan on going to hang out for awhile!

I am trying to convince the fiancee to go...if we do go it would be only for a few hours...and most likely we won't be staying at the hotel...we would probably drive up there for the day if we are able to go...hehe

OMG- I did not put NE in there!! I lived in Glenwood IA for 15 months- so close to Omaha/Bellview
And I went to the Dental School at UN all the time!! How did I not put NE in ?? Very Sorry!!

I can really am excited about going- I know I want to go for the whole weekend, we will see about that!

I plan on going. Don't think I will stay for the whole weekend. Will probably come up Saturday morning and leave that evening. Pretty expensive to stay at the hotel. Hubby has to work so it will be just me and one of my Yorkies.
