I love the crown center, and the plaza. I don't shop there all that much but i just love the atmosphere! Heck i love KC we moved here almost 4 years ago and we will more than likely stay in this area. Willow iwll be coming home Feb 11 and i can't wait!

I live in Newton, IA and have two yorkies. My oldest Sasha is 5 lbs and four years old. then I have Tribbles, she is 3.5 lbs and will turn four next month. They are sisters one litter apart. My husband and I are empty nesters so we replaced the kids with Yorkies and love ever minute of it.

I wanted to let you know that there is a 12 yr old yorkie gal looking for a new home. Here is a thread I posted about her earlier this week - she's free to the right home

Wow I just found this Thread!! I'm in Iowa for the next year and few months. I'm in Ames, at Iowa State. If all works out right, I should have my yorkie in a month or so. I'm getting 'yorkiegirl2''s Izzy. She's 3 years old and will definitely be looking for a play group and running space (since I'm in an apartment without a fenced in yard)!!! We'll have to plan something this summer!! Who's in!?

Suzy & I started the Central Iowa Yorkie Meetup Group last fall. We were just talking about doing a meet up last week. Perhaps on May 17. The big YT Meetup is in KC in June -- are you going to go to that?

We had wanted to do a meetup in Feb. but we didn't have enough interest & had to hunt to find an indoor spot

I won't actually have her until the following weekend it's looking like. Kinda complicated situation. There's a slight chance we might be able to get her sooner than May 24th, but it's not for sure. I'm not actually going to the YT meetup in KC. I'm working full time on an internship and they don't give you much time off, plus I've traveling home to my parents house (in the QC area) quite a bit to visit my bf (who is on an internship in chicago). It's a crazy summer!!! I'd love to have a meet up sometime once i get her tho, even it if is just a few near des moines.

Well, nothing is set in stone yet -- it is so hard with some much going on once it finally gets nice here. Hopefully if you miss this meetup we can plan some other time to get together
