YT 2000 Club Member | Ohio Breeder I am going to be getting my lil guy from a breeder that my mother used, Her name is Tracy Burkhart of Whispering Pines Kennel. Her dogs are beautiful! I have E mailed her a few times and I go to her web site and I will call her when it is closer to the breeding time. So far every thing has been great! My mother recommended her and I like her allot. Just wondering if any one here has used her and how did you like her. |

| i just looked at the website. i know your mother recommended her to you but personally, i would not purchase a puppy from her. just a couple of reasons.... she breeds more than one she mixes her breeds she also breeds many other animals she has WAY TOO MANY registrations i strickly like getting a baby from someone who ONLY breeds yorkshire terriers.

YT 2000 Club Member | Her web site is at www.geocities.com/trcburkhart. Yes, she does breed peke a poohs too, but she does not mix them with her Yorkies. I asked about the other dogs and she has a boy peke a pooh breed with a girl peke a pooh. They are kept in separate places then with the Yorkies. My Mom checked it out 2 years ago and has been to her house 4 different times over the years. She said that all the dogs are well cared for and looked in good health. I will be going and checking her out myself. Thanks for the information and I will keep it in mind! |

YT 2000 Club Member | I must agree now that I met her myself. Tracy gave us a tour of her place. All her dogs are HEALTHY, friendly and well cared for. I got to see the parents of the pups too. I got to go see the litter that I am getting my boy from when he was 3 day's old, Jeter was born Sept. 30, I was given an open invite to come back and visit him anytime! I will gladly recommend Traci to anyone and I know that my mother will also! If you can get a chance to go visit your breeder I think that you should do it! also Traci will give you any information that you need when you ask her. |

| We were just up in bellevue I would have liked to visited just out of curiosity. Looking at her website the dogs look well taken care of but... I hate to say this but so mant websites I look at I veiw the dams & studs, one or two look nice or ok, then the rest I dont even think look like yorkies. Unfortunately all puppies are cute & people dont take the time to really look at the parents & say "do I want my yorkie to look like that?" Is it the investment of $$ & time & the thought of profits that makes breeders not see that they have a "bad" yorkie & should just spay/neuter it & try again. In my opinion 3 of her females look mixed. Not to say they shouldnt be a loved pet, they just shouldnt be used to breed. jmo. |

I am sorry that you feel that way about her dogs but I do not see what you are saying as to them looking "Mixed". I have seen all her Yorkies in person and they are 100% Yorkie. JMO, I feel that if you are looking for a puppy you need to go visit the breeder for yourself and see the Parents and the puppies yourself. If you do not see what you would like, then you decline to get a puppy from that person and go look elsewhere. I did go see Traci's lace and I got to see Jeter's dad and his mom, along with a tour of her place and we saw all of the other dogs too! If I felt that Jeter was not a full breed Yorkie then I would not buy him. | |
