Loving family wants a Yorkie! No more babies for us - unless it is a little girl Yorkie! Hubby and I have decided to search. We want a little girl for companion purposes only. Bloodline and Confirmation are of no great importance. Would love to give a home to a young girl in need. She will be treated like a princess. I only have boys and would really love a little girl, but having a baby is not an option for us any more . So we think the next best thing is a Yorkie ! If anyone know of a Yorkie in need of a home ( we are in Belvidere IL )please let us know. She would be really happy and well taken care of! Natalie

| Check out www.petfinder.com. Choose dog, type yorkie, choose female, choose baby or young, type in your zip code, and choose expanded area. That will show you all the puppy or young females available in your area that are in rescue and in need of a good forever home. I got on there the other day and saw that there were a couple in Missouri. Good luck!

I agree to look in pet finder or any yorkie rescue group. These sweethearts need good forever homes. We adopted our first yt from a breeder who could not breed bc she was too small - 4.3 lbs. Our second one is a rescue and he is soooo adorable. Icky is 3.4 lbs. I can't wait to hear how you make out. good luck with your search!

Go to United Yorkie Rescue and YTNR to see what they have. They also do transports from other states.

I have been looking on all rescue sites, but from reading posts our posts here I think I will have a hard time getting approved for adoption. I have 5 boys ages 10, 8, 5, 3, and 2. I know a lot of you are thinking a yorkie is not the right dog for this family but I know it is. We used to have a chihuahua so we are used to small dogs. This is going to be MY dog and it will be treated like a baby. It will be on my lap, in our bedroom, in a car seat etc... I am very experienced with raising babies after all! So I guess i am probably looking to adopt through more of a private individual or family that needs to find their baby a new home for whatever reason. Thanks all for any help Natalie
