| yorkie puppy is VERY attached to my husband Hi, We have had several dogs in the past but this is our first male and our first yorkie. When our 6 month old Yorkie is with me alone (as well as with my husband alone) he is very manageable....but when we are together (except in bed with us, which is fine too), he is just CRAZY (barking, wiggling, frantic) when ever he needs to be apart from my husband. Since I am used to having our dogs favor me...this is not only very different, it is also very annoying as he barks and barks and barks....He is alone for about 4 hours a day in his crate and does just fine with that.....any suggestions (we tried squirting him with a water bottle (suggested in puppy class)..and putting him in time out in his crate...but he is so stubborn, he barks nonstop there too. Any thoughts or suggestions aboout what to do? barb in minneapolis |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome to YT. Hopefully some people on here will have some good advice for you. As for me, I haven't been able to find anything that works for one of my bad barkers.
