Does anyone know of a good groomer, who has decent prices? I don't want to spend a ton of money, I don't really have it...Any suggestions would be great. I'm in Roseville.

I'm not sure if this would be too far for you, but I go to k-9 Cuts on Auburn Rd. just past Dequindre in Shelby Twp. The owner Tracey grooms my JoJo and she does a fantastic job. He gets a bath, puppy cut, nail trim, and if needed his anal glands expressed (hasn't had this done yet, especially since he's on a raw diet and his stools come out nice, solid and tiny!) for $30. I really like her because he's still a puppy and doesn't stand still for too long, but she's really patient and will groom him a little at a time in segments until he's done. He's always happy to see her, and he's always super handsome when I pick him up.

Hi Rebecca, We take Bentley to Smilin Dog on 13 mile, between Gratiot and Groesbeck.next to the carwash. usual charge is around $35.00. Owners name is Penny,she has groomed our Yorkies past and present for about 10 years! We've tried others but always go back to her. If you go to her, tell her Bentley and Michelle sent you. ! Also ,Sue ,who's having the meetup at her shop July 11th is good too. she's on Crocker in Harrison Twp.

Thanks for the responses.. We're going to look into them. I was wondering if you guys by chance had any photos of what your puppies look like after they came home.. This will be Rileys first hair cut, and I'm scared on how he'll do..he's very super hyper, especially around new people.. I'm kinda nervous.

Riley more hyper than Bentley??

Bentley is super hyper.!He never liked his paws touched so Penny told us to play with his paws,massage them etc so he would get use to it.he still doesn't like it,but not as bad. she sweet talks him and plays with him while she has him.she says he's not a problem she can handle him,another grooming place had a hard time with all his wiggling etc. so we never took him back there. Make sure you tell whoever you go to that this is his first grooming and you BOTH are nervous!
I couldn't find a before & after,but I know this is right after coming home from Smilin Dog cause he still has a bandana on.! he wants them off right away!

I was using a groomer that came to our house and did the grooming in front of you. She was the most patient and gentliest person with dogs that I ever met. She did a great job of grooming. Very reasonable actually cheaper than taking the dog to a groomer. She lived in the suburbs of Chicago up until a couple of days ago when she moved to Ortonville Mi. Sue is right by you and she does a fantastic job. I am pretty sure her prices are affordable. Here is the link to her website.

Thank you SO much for recommending the Smiling Dog. We took Riley there today, and he looks amazing..The facility was nice, and the people were very friendly. We will def. be going back! thank you so much!

Yeah.. I had some issues posting it yesterday but figured it out today. He looks so handsome!
