I thought it would be nice to find out how many of us our in this area. I have two Yorkies, Maggie -5 yrs -10 lbs. Her sister Bailey -3 yrs - 4lbs
Are there any play groups or get-togthers in the area? I'm considering getting another one, but I'd feel better if I could rescue one that needs a good home.

I'm in the northern suburbs, I think there are a couple playgroups. I have a friend who lives by lombard and she has a yorkie too.

A good friend of mine is thinking about getting a yorkie, and she lives there. Also, I might be there to visit occasionally-so I'll be sure to check and see if you guys are meeting up if I head to Chi-town anytime soon!

I think YT member myboy is in Chicago...and YT member Erin I think is too? I might be wrong-I know there are others!

Villa Park here.

No yorkie at present - but kinda looking for one. I lost my last 2 yorkies (due to old age) about a year ago, and thinking about a puppy.

Hi...Just got a puppy this past weekend!! I'm so excited!!! He's 3 months. I am in Chicago. Looking forward to play groups. I definitely want my yorkie to play with other yorkies!!!

Franklin Park here!! (next door to Rosemont)

There are playdates in the city.. but there's so much traffic.. that I barely ever go

where in Chicago? Kayah doesn't really care for other dogs.. but I'm getting Evie in a few days and she's gonna need someone to play with

there are a couple near downtown..

one meets every last Saturday of the month (I've bee.. I like)

the other one I'm not sure because it's new.. but I think they meet every Saturday.. it's in a yorkie and small dog doggy daycare.. the owner of the daycare is the one who hosts the meetups..
