Default 2 sweet yorkie boys looking for new home

We are looking for a loving family for our two adult male yorkies near Columbus, Ohio. Rio is 6 yrs old and is a great lap dog. He would be best suited for a home with no other pets. He loves to cuddle & has a teddy bear face. He is fixed, potty trained & up to date on all shots. He does require low fat/high protein food due to a minor medical condition, but other than that he is healthy! He is a dollbaby, but takes a while to warm up to people. After that, he's on your lap every moment you allow him to be. Rio is approximately 13 pounds.

Frankie is 4 yrs old & is extremely loving. He loves everybody...adults, kids,& other pets. We call him "friendly frankie" He is about 7 or 8 pounds. He is also fixed, potty trained & up to date on all shots.

My boys are family pets & grew up in a house with two toddlers. They are registered, but neither is a "show dog". They are cute family yorkies.

Both my boys have nice black metal crates w/ bedding. It breaks my heart to give them away, but my husband & I are expecting our 3rd child in a few weeks & Rio & Frankie don't get the attention they deserve. We will give them free to good homes. I would love to find a home for them together, but I will separate if both go to loving homes. Please let me know if you know of someone looking. Thanks

Jamie

Awww this makes me very sad. Im sorry but I just dont get the I have to give my dogs away because Im having babys. I dont mean to be mean, but its so hard on those dogs to have a family for so long and then just be turned away. how unfair to them.Do you have any pictures of them to post? I live in OHIO and Im sure I can help you find these boys forever home so that they can atleast stay together.

Why does one need to be an only pet when he's used to having a playmate?
Are you wanting to keep them together or separate them since one needs to be an only pet?

Please post pictures.

If they grew up with 2 toddlers already why the kick to the curb over a third baby ? I hope if you do this you can keep them together - they'll be very confused....poor boys

Good luck

Yeah.....I was wondering this, too. Unless, maybe...? the skin mom is ill (or something) and can't physically keep up with the children?

Just too sad

Oh I see that this is a first post for this person, I hope she knows what a pm is, and that she just has to open the link when she gets the private message in he email box. and if not, I hope she asks for help, seeing some one here that wants both would be perfect...

I'd love to take them both! I was originally looking for a female puppy, but I think this might actually be an even better fit. I'm crossing my fingers (and toes, and eyes) that this works out!

The distance (I'm on the west coast) and timing might be a problem. If it is, I have no doubt that they can both find awesome homes...but I'm still hoping that it works out for me!!!

You never know..maybe they will love the new baby and the baby will love them when he/she gets old enough to play with them...how were they with your other kids when they were babies? Hopefully you can find them new homes if thats what you want to do but you might be pleasantly suprised of the bond that forms with them and the new addition!!
