| I'm starting to be discourage :( Hello everyone, My pup is 5 months old and I changed her to a diet for liver shunt recently. We are not convinced she has it for now... I have to go back for a Acid Bile Test... But, I give her 2/3 of cups a day of the Royal Canin Hepatetic LS14 and she is still mega hungry... She shakes when she sees me eat other foods... She is always around the kitchen to see if she could find food! Also is 125 ml a day for drinking is too much for a 3 pound dog? She eats only dry food. Also she started going urinating every hour and a half, is that a lot. At night she can go around 3 hours without going? She also makes quite big spots... but they are of normal color to clear... I feel discourage as she has been sick for the past 3 weeks... it's becoming really hard on me... any help would be appreciated. I'm starting to ask myself what did I get into... even though I love this little thing.... Thanks

| I put my boys on royal canine and noticed their water consumption going up also. Actually I posted it on here too asking other members if they noticed that with their dogs. Due to her water consumption she has to pee a lot. Mine did too. I took them off of it, I found it to be way too expensive and putting a lot of weight of them. Is your baby STARVING?? or is she begging?? She is a dog! dogs will eat & eat & eat & eat, til they puke it up pretty much! My boys can eat all their food and 2 mins later be begging me for my food. That does not mean they are hungry, it means they want MY food! Id find out for sure if she has liver shunt before feeding her this special food. Try splitting her food into 2 portions and give her one portion in the morning and one in the evening. That may help.

| Thanks, I split the portion today and I mixed with Hill's LD formula... I think she is just a big eater... If she sees me eat she will bark to have a piece... I resisted to her begging last night! Thank you!
