| Does Anyone Knit Their Own Yorkie's Sweaters Hi I am just wondering if anyone knows where I could get a Knitting pattern for a turtleneck sweater with sleeves? I used to knitted sweaters for my grandchildren a few years back, but since they are all grown, thought it would be fun to make my own fur babies' sweaters. Janelles |

| That's weird. I just posted the same question on a different page. I looked on amazon.com and found some books. I think I'm just going to go to a bookstore so that I can see all of the patterns before I buy. If you want, I can photocopy a pattern after I buy a book and email to you. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw...o.x=11&Go.y=10. |

| Hi That would be great! There are some of the cutest patterns on E-Bay to knit, not just for sweaters, but hats as well, (real cute) but the descriptions are in Japanese, and I don't think I would be able to decipher them. I've thought about sending for them anyways, just to see if I could. Janelles |

| I only make really simple ones, but the book I have has a pattern for the turtleneck with sleeves. It's called Puppyknits. I got it at Ben Franklins' but they have it at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw...rds=puppyknits It's a great book...I just need to advance my skills! deb |

| I need to learn how to knit! I do crochet but I haven't touched a hook in years. I just decided last week to start making Bitsy some sweaters. I started doing the chest part of the sweater but I had to redo it 8 times already because I forgot how to count stiches! |

| My Mum has a couple of patterns I think. I know she made our last Yorkie a sweater for the last few months of her life to keep her warm. She's a member so I'll pass this thread on to her.

| I knit Lucy's sweaters. I went on Amazon and did a search and found several books. If you buy them used they are more affordable This is the first one I made for her. Have fun!

| Thank you Thank you all so much for the help. I love Lucy's sweater, she is a very sweet little model. I have seen that pattern, but it is even better to know that someone has made it, and it turned out so cute. I just might get that one. Janelles |

| The fun thing about this pattern is that each different yarn you use completely changes the look of the sweater! Happy knitting

| I love to knit sweaters for the boys. Here's a great link to some free patterns. I don't know if they specifically have a turtle neck sweater, but you may be able to improvise some of the patterns. http://www.knittingpatterncentral.co...ctory/pets.php (There is a cat sweater pattern on there that may work, too!).
