| Lunch Break?? How many go home for lunch to check on their furbabies?? I sub about 3 to 4 days a week. I get 40 minutes for lunch and since i live 7 minutes from our schools--- i eat my sandwich on the drive home and spend it with Ollie and Reese. If the weather permits we take a quick walk and play and i give them lots of kisses. Everyone at the school rolls their eyes at me and gives me an exaggerated hard time but i know you all may understand.....Am i obssessed or overprotective or a worrier??? I dont think so!!!! |

| No I don't think your overprotective. Unless they are owned by a furbaby, they will not understand. Nobody understands the special bond we have with our babies. Don't feel mad at them or imbarrassed, just feel sad for them for all they are missing out on. |

| Sorry I take Deiter and Cozmo to work with me. But when they don't come with me. I work in the basement and live in the apt up stairs. So I do come up 3 to 5 times a day to take them out and for walks. So I am very lucky. But it helps when your Boyfriend is your Boss and the Daddy of my furbabys. lol

| I JUST searched old posts for advice from yorkie owners who work. Fortunately, I will be home for 2.5 weeks after I get my puppy in December. But after that it's back to work. I was a little nervous about owning such a small dog and working 6-7 hours a day. After reading several posts I feel a lot more comfortable about the whole thing. I think I will set up a fenced off area in my kitchen with a pee-pad, food/water and his crate. You're lucky that you work close enough to go home for a little visit during the day! |

| I check on my GiGi almost everyday but if I cant make it home, she is perfectly fine. I wish I could take her to work but I work at a daycare center so I dont think she would want to go there!

| I always go home at lunch too. Some days I only have an hour for lunch and it takes about 15 minutes to get home and another 15 minutes to get back so that's not a lot of time to eat and take Lacy out.

| I'm lucky... I work close to home so I can go home every day at lunch time. If I have a meeting or bad day, though, and just can't get home, Coby's okay. He's kenneled so if I miss lunch, I try to run home at some point to let him out. Otherwise, all four of his legs are crossed by the time I get home. Reggie, the Shi Tzu is fine - he has the run of the house. A Yorkie (or Shi Tzu) kiss at noon sure helps a bad day..........

| I went home for lunch for a two week period while I was settling Bitsy in. It takes me 30 minutes to get home and 30 minutes to get back to work - so there goes an hour! I was taking 2 hour lunchs and getting a co-worker to cover for me, lol. I am actually looking at apartments closer to work and plan on moving in the spring just so that I CAN be closer to Bitsy. I want to be able to go home at lunch to spend time with her and shave an hour off my daily commute so I can spend that hour with her.... The things we do.... |

| I think that is sweet that you go home on your lunch break to check on your baby. I am a stay at home mom, but since my girls are in school I spend my day with Bella!!! I'm soooooo glad I have her!
