| I know it seems like the end of the world, but it will be fine! Just make sure the vet uses the right kind of anesthesia. It will be better for Armani in the long run if you do it now. How old is he? How much does he weigh?

YT 500 Club Member | He is 8.5months 5.6#. I am so worried, what is the right kind of anesthesia? The vet comes highly recommended and seems very knowledgable. Armani has a retained testicles, and he says he has experience with these types of operations. He explained every place it may or may not be. Any one else have a puppy with a retained testicle?

YT 500 Club Member | Armani has one inverted testicle, which is exactly why I am doing it. The vet I found is pricier but I feel that he is the best man for the job

YT 500 Club Member | they can become cancerous which is not something I want for Armani, I would rather have the surgery. While he is there I am going to go pick up a new bed and blanket for him and treats, flossies and onsies.

Yes, that's what I've heard too, they can also cause other problems. I agree on the surgery. I'd rather have the surgery than the risks involved! Again, wishing you and Armani the best! | |

| You need to have faith in your vet..All of my dogs have been spayed/neutered as soon as possible..the neutering is nothing compared to spaying..they are less likely to get certain cancers when they're neutered, less likely to lift their leg, mark, etc. plus, they usually get to be picked up that evening..they end up making better pets..I got my biewer on a Sunday at 5 1/2 mos. and had him neutered that Monday, picked him up that Monday night..He was 4 lbs. and did fantatic |

| I know it is so hard. Ellie is getting spayed today. She gets to come home tonight though. I think one of the best things I did for this was take the earliest available appointment after I decided to get it done. I only had to think about it for three days.
