| I may go crazy before today is over with, pray for me pleaseeee So, I took off school early because I had a few errands to run. I was sitting here watching tv and noticed Lilly was itching an awful lot and rubbing her face/ears on the carpet so I picked her up and looked over her but didn't see anything. She snuggled in between me and the arm of the couch and was laying there then all of a sudden she started whimpering like she wanted to get to her butt. So, I picked her up and layed her on her back and boom first thing I see a little annoying flea, how wonderful I think to myself! So, I called the groomer and they said they could get her in right away (THANK GOD!) so I took her and dropped her off and went by the store to get some flea stuff for the carpet, now I'm sitting here smelling this disgusting smell and worrying myself to death. I'm still trying to figure out where she got them and I'm almost positive I know. My boyfriend's dad had fleas at his house REALLY bad and swore up and down to us that he got rid of them all before he left. Well, not really thinking about it we took Lilly with us Sunday to his dad's new house so he could help him move and Lilly stayed inside. Makes sense to me, all I know is she isn't going over there again and please everyone pray for us that we get rid of them. Fleas aren't healthy for any dog but I know it's particularly unhealthy for a (not even) 4 month old puppy to have them. Shoot me Oh and go me, as soon as I opened the carpet powder up I was kinda in a rush and opened the wrong end so a HUGE pile of the stuff goes boom on the carpet and just saturated it, oh well at least I know there will be none in that particular spot ha

| Fleas are a pain in the butt to get rid of...I HATE them...they are so bad here, especially during the summer

| Man, It bothers me to see a young pup who can't protect themselve against fleas. Fleas are so nasty and ticks are worse, they make the pups so miserable. Your pup will be ok once treated and will feel so much better.

| It does me too, it breaks my heart so bad. When I first got her I got kicked out like 2 days after getting her and ended up having no other choice but to move in with my boyfriend and she got them then and after I got rid of them then and moved in on our own I made it a priority and pretty much sheltered her from everything so she wouldn't get them again. The groomer didn't find many on her though so that's good, hopefully I found them right when she first got them.

| You are right to be upset. Since fleas are hard to get unlike ticks that you can pick them off. If the rug flea killer doesn't work, try the foggers for fleas. However, I have not used them in carpet, so I don't know how long to let dry before you let her in. Good luck. |
