Hi Denise - so glad to see you post at least a little bit...my husband gets bad migranes so I can only relate to what I see him go through.

What a wonderful man Lewis is and happy to hear that all is working out and everyone is getting adjusted to everything. Can't wait to see the pics.

Thank you so much for the recap of your visit!!! I felt like I was there. I'm so glad he liked the harness. I wanted Sasha to have something extra special!!!

Denise, you really need to send this story to "Chicken Soup for the dog lovers" it would be a huge hit!

I'm so glad to hear Sasha is adjusting, I'm sure it's very hard for Jill to let her go.

Thanks for updating us on Lewis & Sasha. Sounds like you had a WONDERFUL visit. Maddie knows who her "god daddy" is... that is cute. I hope it was ok to call him her god daddy.. i feel like that is what he is.

Angi, please pass the kleenex! I'm such a baby! I just can't read about Maddie, Lewis, Sasha, Denise or Jill without crying; but at least they're happy tears! So glad things are going well, and Denise, please see a doctor, if you haven't, about those headaches. My perscribed Maxalt and they work wonders! Just like Am Express, I don't leave home with them!

While reading your post, I could just visuallize the entire scene.

I'm so happy to hear how happy Lewis and his baby are. It's wonderful that your setting up a play-date with Maddie & Sasha. That will be the best thing for everyone so you can stay in close touch.

Oh Denise I am so glad to read this update! It just warms my heart to know that Lewis and Sasha have bonded so well together, that is absolutely wonderful!

I can't wait to see the pics that Lauryn took with her cell phone. And that is so cute that Lewis said he likes to watch Animal Planet lol...and he was asking about the breed, that's so great!

I think a play date for Maddie and Sasha would be great, and loads of fun too! Whenever you guys get together for that, we must see pics!!

Denise, it's just so wonderful that you and Jill are keeping in touch with Lewis, visiting him with Maddie. I still get tears in my eyes every time I read anything to do with this whole saga. I just wish Lewis had internet,he would be such a valued member here. He taught so many people the meaning of a truly giving heart.
I'm so glad your migraines are tapering off. I know with the very few (thankfully) that I suffer from a year, I just want to crawl into a dark hole and lie down. You poor thing, I cannot imagine getting them as often as you do.
