| I cried at the vet's office today!! Very sad I took in Tinkerbell's puppies for their first shots and a lady with a very sick little yorkie came in . She was there to put him down it was so sad, he was blind and not eating, I didn't want to questions her much but he was 14 years old and she said the minimal on his condition, as she was telling me she started to cry and so did I . I can't even ever imagine putting my beautiful Tinkerbell down or any of my babies , I didn't see her anymore because I got called in to room. I just thought I would share this story

| Maybe find out who she is from the vet and giver her one of Tinkerbell's pup's. That would bring so much joy to someone and you.

| so sad we have a dog that 16 and just this past year we can see her age catching up to her, but i think she has a couple of years left that will be ok. just thinking about trying to make a decision like that is going to tear us up. when do you really know if or when you should do that.

| My first Yorkie had to be put down over 2 years ago and I miss him every day. The woman you saw at the vets' knew she was doing the right thing for her pet, regardless of her own pain. Many friends gathered the next morning after Samson the first died, including the vet who had never been to a gringo pet funeral. We buried Sam high on a hill under an apple tree and said a few words. A Japanese friend prepared food and water for his "crossing" and planted a small flower garden for him. It made the "goodbye" a little more bearable. |

| I know what she must have been going through as i had to have my beautiful 14 year old Heidi pts in may, it was the hardest descision i have ever had to make. I feel so sorry for her, i hope she will maybe be able to love another in time...i have my gorgeous princess pixie sleeping on my lap and she has made me so happy again.

| We had to put down my childhood yorkie Moochie about 7 years ago, he was 16 and all of his organs were shutting down. It was horrible, even the vet cried when we put him down. We still miss him, but we got Max and Mazie shortly after that and they have brought 7 wonderful years to us, and now I have Lucy who also brings so much joy to my life. I like the suggestion that somoene made about offering her one of Tinkerbell's pups!

| So sad, but she loved her baby enough to let her go. As for knowing when the time is right, you'll know...you can see it in their eyes. I had to have my little Cockapoo pts 6 months ago, I still cry when I think of him. |

| I'm still sad about this little baby, and she does have 2 other yorkies, you know once you own one you can't stop. I do feel bad for her but to hand her one of Tinkerbell's babies just doesn't seem right, I am having a very difficult time myself having to let one go, I mean I just met her for about 15 minutes. I do feel for this lady but Tinkerbell's baby is like my baby, she did hold the puppies and it brought a smile to her sad and teary face but I never thought about just giving her one.

| Sometimes you have to love them enough to let them go. It doesn't make it easier though. Very sad. I would have been a basket case.
