| new puppies Hi Everyone, I am new to the Yorkietalk forum, but I do have a question for anyone who raises yorkie puppies. On Sunday, my little yorkies gave birth to three beautiful puppies, all healthy, but she seems so distressed about where she should be with them. She whelped in her kennel, with me beside her and did fine, but the next day she started dragging the puppies all over the house. She has tried to take them under my bed so I moved her box into my bedroom. Last night she whined all night and everytime I leave her out she tries to dig a new spot to take the puppies. What should I do this is her first litter and I am very concerned? Thanks, Debbie |

She's attempting to hide her babies....You must put her and the babies in a confined, quiet area away from traffic in the house....Somewhere people can't peer on her babies.....make sure there is no loose blankets, pillows, etc...or you may find a puppy smothered.
