| Need Gates for Wide Doors - Any Hints Where to Get Them?? I received sooo much help when I asked about scales to weigh my babies so I thought I would post another plea for help. I am getting ready to rip out my carpets and install new wood floors (thanks to my two babies that I am not able to potty train), but my problem is one door opening is 45" wide and the other is 65". I would like the two gates to be the same and was hoping to find the type with pressure mount as opposed to putting them up permanently. Does anyone have a place to find gates?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions/help. |

| We also have the "wide doorway" problem. We tried two other gates but were never happy with the visability (lack of). And we didn't want to order one, so one day, we went to one store, bought one, brought it home, set it up, didn't like it, took it back. We did that two more times in the same day before we were happy!! We finally ended up with a brass colored wire outdoor ex-pen at PetCo that instead of putting in a circle place across the walkway. It has a walk through gate and the brass color doesn't seem to be such an eyesore for us. We attached it with one small nail in the woodwork on one end and a U-shaped magnet on the fridge on the other side. Just make sure that there are very few, if any, horizontal slats. Yorkies can climb as well as jump!!
