| Am I The Only One This Crazy I just finished my usual Sunday morning routine, it consists of lounging around in bed sipping coffee and surfing the net, then when I'm sure the sun is up and shining on the blue water I toddle into the bathroom, start a look warm shower and yell at my husband "Okay bring me one of the little monkies" and he hands in either Princess or Teddy. I then shampoo and condition the little beast while singing "rub a dub dub, a yorkie in the tub"....when the first one is done then I hand that one off to my husband to towel dry and I shower with the next one.... During the week I only wash their faces right before bed with a wash cloth (there's another song that goes with that but you all are already going to think I'm a nut case).... Anybody else out there do this with their babies?

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Nope your not alone. While i don't have a song to go with it, Morgan does come in the shower with me on Saturday or Sunday. I wash her hair, then mine, condition hers, and then mine so that it has time to soak in . she may not be a fan but she's a good girl in the shower and just stands at the end out of the water spray until i'm done. no hubby/bf to hand off to. then she gets two towels to dry off on and runs laps around my room until i get the blow dryer out.

| *raises hand* I do it as well. And I have goofy little songs that go alone with it.

| That sounds so sweet. I think it's easier to take them in the shower with you then to wash them in the sink.

| I wash Gizmo with me in the shower also, but I don't sing then. I do however sing him a good morning song that makes my family laugh at me!

| I'm eternally grateful that both of my babies are tone deaf because I can't carry a tune but they love the "rub a dub dub, yorkie in the tub" bit. Teddy also loves the "ready steady teddy" song but he gets that when I get home from work......alas even in paradise, one has to work I tried the sink bathing routine and all parties wound up stressed so it's my Sunday bonding ritual with them. My husband works from home so he gets to be with them all week but I have to make up for lost time and this works really well. Somehow I am never able to work up much sympathy from anyone when they find out where I live but I do wind up with a lot of friends LOLOLOLOL

| That's our Sunday morning routine also Unfortunately, I live in Utah and it was soooo cold this morning - we had to wait till it warmed up for our baths. I tried singing 'rub-a-dub-dub' while I scrubbed Hoku and she looked at me like I was nuts - LOL!
