| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Georgia is in love with a rubber bouncing ball...so far it appears to be the perfect size for her to play with. My boyfriend says this could be dangerous....please advise? ![]() |

| As long as she cant swallow it and she cant break it into pieces to choke on it should be fine

| I remember when Oprah's dog died a few months ago. She was a larger dog than a yorkie, but I don't remember what kind. Her dog choked on a ball. This whole discussion came up then. If the ball is small enough to fit all the way into a dog's mouth, it's too small. I had some cat-sized balls that Gizmo loved, but I decided to throw them away. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

How big is the ball? If she can get the whole thing in her mouth, it could be a choking hazard. | |

| Just make sure she doesn't eat it or tear it up.

| I believe that close supervision is key here. If you're not watching her, put the ball up where she cannot get it.
