| NEED HELP NOW!!!!Please My little boy just got neuterd last weekend and has licked ALL of his external glue off and now he has a very large open wound. His internal stiches are still in good shape but it looks like is wound hasn't even healed at all. I am on hold waiting for a vet, but have not had any luck. What do I do because my vet is not open til Monday!!! He was bleeding alittle bit and I applied direct pressure which stoped the bleeding but would I be ok to pack it with gauze and take him the morning??

| I would be worried about infection and would not leave it until morning. Is there an ER vet near?

| I would get him to a vet tonight, even if you have to drive a little ways away. I will say a prayer for him.

| Emergency vet ASAP! Don't mess around with this...an open wound is VERY serious. For such a little baby an infection could be very damaging!! |

| I would take him to the vet, or at least talk to a vet on the phone to get their opinion. Once you get it taken care of, you might try putting him in infant onesies until the wound heals. That way, he can't get to it to lick it. GOOD LUCK!

| you don't have to wrap it if it's a male....the liquid glue will work...unless your having so odd colored discharge...i wouldn't worry about infection...just keep it clean and antibiotics on it if necessary ONLY. this is common...and the vet will do the same close it with the glue.
