| Comments & Stories for cookbook I'm looking for some positive feelings about YT, and some good stories to put in the cookbook. If you'd like to share a story about your furbaby, or just say something nice please feel free to post. We will be selecting from all the entries we receive.

| Becoming a Yorkie-parent is an amazing experience and sometimes you think...does anyone out there know how amazing this feels? Then, you find YT and realize that not only do the other members "get it"...but they share their stories and experiences and you feel like you you will always have a friend who you can confide in anything from getting your pup's topknot just right to puppy pooping issues...yes, poop. Hey, anything is fair game among true friends!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Ok, I have something to share....warning long... but you only need to read the first posts on each... So you'll understand how it started ~ http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34893 The result all because of YT ~ http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35459 Without Yorkie Talk there would be no Ramsey and no Reese. Ramsey came from a breeder here and Reese from my friend, Gina....mustangbee I've meet some amazing people here and made life long friends.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I came to YT in Feb of 06 and I had my very 1st Yorkie, her name was Kloey. She was the 1st yorkie I had ever owned and she was such a joy to me! She was only a yr old when I lost her, she was hit by a car. I was such a mess, I really didnt know how I was going to go on, she brought me so much joy that it felt like I had lost a child. The support from YT was famonminal and I will never forget the most beautiful arrangement of flowers that showed up at my door. All the phone calls I received. Then the most special gift of all was an unknown YT member who put a deposit down on Lillie for me. I will never forget her or her generosity. She was my angel. If it would not have been for her and a few other YT members, I doubt I would have Lillie. Lillie helped fill that void I had in my heart, I honestly think that Kloey was up in heaven arranging all of it. |

No Longer a Member | Here's the anecdote I posted on Chloe's first birthday post: Back in November last year, I decided to make the leap and get my first dog. I was so nervous that I actually did not show up to pick Chloe up from the breeder when I was supposed to. My mother and aunt had both warned me that I was "not a dog person," and my husband said he did "not want a dog!--a peeing, pooping, licking machine." Even as I drove away from the breeder's home with Chloe in my car, I asked myself, "what have I done?!" What I did was make the best decision I ever made in my life! I never understood the rewards of dog ownership, and what on earth was the big deal?! Now...I get it. The unconditional love she gives us and the fun she creates has enriched our lives tremendously. She is a part of our family, and we all love her. I never knew I could love an animal so much, but there is just something about her cute little furry face and her waggly tail that melts our hearts. ...oh, and as for my husband who did "not want a dog!--the peeing, pooping, licking machine"...he thinks she's his dog! |
