Last week I emailed my breeder with a pic of Trigger. I expressed my concern that he was NOT even remotely starting to look full bred yorkie, as I thought & was told he would. I also sent pics of other 4month old yorkies, to explain that is what I expected, and he looks NOTHING like anything I have ever seen. She originally told me that there was no other dogs that could have gotten to her female. Well after more inspection I was told today taht she found out that her neighbors dachsund is NOT fixed like she thought. He is the only dog around, so it's reasonable to deduce that HE is Triggers daddy. She is very apologetic, and she is offering my $$ back, and a puppy from her mother's up-coming litter. HEr mother's dog was bred at the vet's office, and is 100% house kept, and such.

I know the whole thing was an accident, she really didnt want to breed her female at all during that heat. So, I am not too mad. She is trying to accomidate me, and I appreciate that. I don't have any intenition of giving Trigger back, I just wanted her to know what was going on & the dog she sold me was clearly NOT 100% yorkie.

I'm actually glad to know what he is, and that is a Dorkie. Now that I have looked at pics, I can see the weenie in him. In the end, I am not going to take the $$ back, as long as I chose to take one of her moms puppies. I won't do both. That'd be taking advantage. Also, I know taht her mom sells her pups for much more than her, becasue she breeds better dogs.

I feel sooooo silly, but it was my 1st time buying & I fell in love with him. Heck, I am still in love with him & wouldn't change it. It all works out in the end.

I just saw a little "dorkie" pup when I was at the vets the other day and she was adorable! Sounds like this was an honest mistake and she is going to make it right for you. So all is well that ends well. Do you have any pics of your pup that you could post?

Thats really wonderful that she is willing to compensate you for the misunderstanding. Well at least now you get two dogs for the price of one, and a playmate for Trigger.

I'm glad she was upfront with you and is wanting to make things right... plus it will be so much fun for you to have two!

Please post pics of Trigger...I'll bet he's a cutie, even if he's not what you thought he was!

He sounds like a sweetie. It does sound like an honest mistake and it is nice to see her take responsibility for her actions.

Here are a couple pics. The 1st & 2nd are now, and the 3rd is a good pic of his face but it's about a month old. He still looks the same, just a bit bigger. A little peach fuzz on his face, not much though. Hard to see that on the 1st pic.

Trigger sounds so cute and I've never seen a Dorkie before....please post pics we'd all love to see how cute Trigger is. Also - glad that things worked out for you and you get another puppy.

Yeah, post pictures! I love daschunds, and have always wondered what a yorkie/daschund mix would look like! I bet he is stinking precious!

You know, I like to call the dandy dinmont terriers "dorky" terriers because their legs are so short and their eyes are so big. They are so silly looking!!

Ok, I posted when you were posting pics, HE IS SO CUTE!!! I love the shape of his body and little tail!!!

Hey ladies I posted pics above, but we all posted at the same time so no one is seeing them. Lol. That 2nd pics I lightened so it was more clear & really doesnt look like him at all.
