| Chloe slept with us!!!! I have had chloe for almost 4 months now and the first day we got her she cried and cried at night so I let her sleep with us but we ended up sleeping in late and she had hypogycemia(she was 3 months old) and as you can imagine I woke up to her being completely limp as a result of not eating during the night and rushed to emergency vet . My vet said she needed to sleep in a cage were she has access to food & water and heating pad. So for the first couple week I woke up every 4 hours to make sure she ate and she slept in a big carrier at the foot of the bed . SHe didnt mind it but I was sad becuase I just love my dogs sleeping with me. But it was a good idea. She would wake up every few hours and ate on her own. So after a few weeks I didnt even have to get up and check on her anymore, by the next mornign all her food in the crate would be gone So we never had another hypoglycemic problem. But I couldnt wait til the day that she was old enough to sleep with us. My chihuahau Tinkerbell and I cuddle together all night. So anyways now Chloe is 6 months and 3 weeks and not quite potty trained but we are defiently making progress. So Last night I was playing around on my laptop in bed and she was laying in between me and my husband and so when I finally went to bed at 2 am I realized she could proboly sleep with us. After all i 'll take her out now and my husband will be up in 4.5 hours. And we did and she didnt potty in bed. She slept the whole time. SHe is so cute and I am so excited!!!!!! So now I think we will do this everynight. I just love cuddling with my furbabies at night and waking up with them. YAY!!!!!!

Thanks, She was 12 oz when we got her at 12 weeks and she is 1.75 lbs now at almost 7 months. I felt so bad that day she went into hypoglycemic shock. It was all my fault because I should have set the alarm to check on her and make her eat. She was so energetic during that day I didnt think about things. I woke up and she was still laying in the same position all night and I honestly thought "wow, little thing really wore herself out" but it wasnt unitl I was trying to wake her up that I realized what was happening. I had a chihuahua once that had hypoglycemic seizures but it wasnt like that with chloe. She was just limp. Didnt even have the energy to move. I rushed to the emergency vet and they had her hooked up to IVs all day because she didnt have the energy to eat on her own. I bawled my eyes out all day. I felt like the worst owner in the world. From there on out I became a real paranoid mommy who made chloe eat like every 2 hours. She kinda double in size in 2 months . I would freak out if she was just laying down. Poor girl I'd wake her up all the time to make sure she was okay. Its amazing how they get over that in a few months. We have no problem now w/ hypoglycemia.
