| Try a tablespoon of pumpkin every few hours. Make sure she is drinking water, or a liquid suppliment. Good luck and hope she feels better soon.

| I am almost positive that is what it is from. My husband's mom's dog had the same prob. the vet told her to give the dog a little rice. I did that so I hope it helps her. |

| Is she on Rimadyl for the pain? If so, STOP giving it immediately. That's one of the warning signs that they are having a bad reaction to the medicine. Diarrhea, vomiting, and/or black stools are indications to stop the meds,it says on our bottle (My Luna just got spayed yesterday) I hope your girl feels better really soon

| Yes, she is on Rimadyl. She had diarrhea three times today. My vet is closed tomorrow. I gave her rice. I am going to see if that helps harden her poop. My package has no warning signs How is Luna doing? |

| Luna's doing great, aside from barking her head off to be let out of the xpen She just doesn't like to be penned up, poor baby! Definitely call the vet about the Rimadyl reaction so that they don't prescribe it again. I hope the rice does the trick. If not, maybe some canned pumpkin (plain, no spices) would help. Hugs to you both

| I am glad Luna is doing great. Prayers that they both heal. Daisy seems to be going very good. I am not giving her the pain medicine anymore. Some Dr. do not even prescribe it. She was spayed on Thurs. so hopefully by tomorrow she will not need it. On a positive note, she has not had the poops in over 9 hrs. I think the rice did the trick. My fingers are crossed |
