| I am so forgetful... I took boobah to have her spaded this morning at 9am. However, she gobbled up some chicken and cottage cheese. I forgot that they were not to have anything to eat after midnight! So now, she is scheduled for an operation on November 5. I should have remembered. However, the girl at the counter was very kind and said she thought the puppy couldnt have the surgery because of her eating breakfast. But what got me upset was this tall guy who said in a very derogatory tone "didnt you know she couldnt have anything to eat?!" I told him no one told me about her not have anything to eat and that he had an attitude problem. I swear, some people should be in the back office and some people in the front. He definitely wasnt a people person. He should be glad he has a job. well at least boobah has a reprieve until November 5th! Oh, and also, the nice girl told me because boobah was in heat it would be more money than the regular $170.00 because they would have to use different instruments????? What a day. I then took her to the park for a stroll and there were a couple of dogs who were eyeing her. I held her in my arms, she likes that, she watches the birds, looks at the lake and stares at the ducks.

YT Addict | Dont' stress. At least you won't have to worry and fret about your baby going in for surgery for a month or two. I went crazy when I took Teddy in to get neutered. Consider it a good thing

| I'll bet BooBah is happy it's been postponed till next month....I'll bet she ate breakfast on purpose knowing that she wouldn't have to have the surgery if she ate I'm planning on scheduling Izzie's spaying for Dec when I'm off on winter break. I'm scared about it also...but I know they will be just fine....we are just worrysum parents when it comes to our furbabies..

| What a downer...that practice should of told you she wasn't able to eat before, and the consequence if she was in heat. They lacked being thorough enough, for a procedure you obviously were nervous about. Maybe you should lodge a complaint to the Director of the practice about this person, since his actions were un-called for. |
