| Beau's vet results Well Beau and I just got back from the vet...and the vet said that he has one of the worst case of allergies that she (the vet) has seen! In fact, he has to go on a prescription food until his body gets "jump started" into fully digesting food. The vet said that he has been throwing up so much because his body recognized the food as something bad so it was trying to get rid of it. She has Beau on a "doggy" benadryl, special dog food, and ear drops. She said that he had visible hives in his ear that were scabbed because he was trying to scratch them so much. I feel so guilty for not getting this looked into eariler but the vet said that Beau has a good prognosis and as long as he follows the diet, then he will be okay...but he isn't allowed to have treats anymore unless they are specifically HYPO-ALLERGENIC with NO grains. After he finishes this special diet (approx. 12 weeks) then the vet suggested Innova EVO small bites. I just thought I would let you all know how it went!!! Please pray for Beau, hoping this clears up with no complications!!!!

| Poor baby. He sounds like he is in good hands and on the road to wellness. Wishing you good luck. I wonder if Chattiemom's "yorkie yummies" qualify as grain free? They may be a good treat to try?

| He was on Eukanuba Yorkshire but the vet switched him to Hills d/z. He's really sleepy from his meds but he is eating better and he seems more content. Thanks everyone for your prayers!!!
