| PetSmart is always an adventure... I had stopped taking Jake with me to PetSmart because people want to try to pick him up, and I've even had people ask me if I was interested in breeding him. Today I went shopping for my new puppy, and I decided to take Jake with me because I hate leaving him. A woman customer came over and told me she would love to have a yorkie, but she said she would want one HALF Jake's size. Jake is only just a little over 4 lbs.!! I told her that and and she said "oh, but they're so much cuter when they're small". Ugh! People don't get it.

| I would just laugh it off as pure stupidity. I've had the same comment and my little girl weighs three pounds! Strange.

| Stooooopid! I get the "I thought yorkies were smaller" alot when I go out (Chip 15lbs). I just tell them yorkies originally were this size, until they were bred smaller and its not uncommon to see large size yorkies. Then they shut up because they obviously don't know much about the breed. |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Thats why I take them in a stroller if there are a lot of cars in the parking lot. I dont want people touching them and kids picking them up. If there isnt a lot of cars I will harness them up but if there is someone who tries to touch them I say ohhh watch out she bites......I guess I am a liar....lol

| I have people coming up to Maggie all the time and they just start petting her and talking baby talk to her, wanting to hold her. I'm getting a stroller as soon as our funds allow it. I was in Petsmart a little while back and this older lady stops me and asked how old Maggie was and how much she weighed. I told her and she goes , "Huh, I have a chihuahua the same age and he only weighs 9 ozs", and she walked away laughing. OMG, people !! lol |
